"Smoke" says he's been much calmer and polite this year and credits everyone else with his success. But last week, when asked "What's missing from racing?" he answered: fistfights!
Bob - He's still got next year, since Roush needs someone to drive the #6.
Gunny - Because, like Harvick, he seemed to be a wiseass from the beginning just for the sake of being a wiseass. As if he needed to fill the void of The Intimidator. There's only one Dale, Sr, and neither Stewart nor Harvick are it. I do give him credit, though. You need talent to win two championships.
What makes it worse is that my man Mark Martin didn't win the race.
