Everything hurts.
I was directing our defense and goaltenders at lacrosse practice yesterday, when a midfielder took a shot on net . . . and hit me square in the chest. I thought I was dying. Kid had a howitzer; now if we can only work on his accuracy . . .
After practice, I went home, ate dinner, and got ready for our final regular season hockey game. The game was a hard-hitting affair, and after getting cross-checked in the back, I played rather well. Unfortunately, we lost 3-1, and now everything - back, knees, neck - really hurts. The first round of the playoffs is Monday night.
Today, I woke up with a head cold. At 1pm, I had an eye doctor's appointment. My vision is not getting worse, but it's not getting better, either. The doc dilated my pupils, and to be honest, I can barely see the computer screen now. Thus, the lateness of today's posts. I will post some more in a few, and I have to put up my Point-Counterpoint at Blogs4Bauer today. Stay tuned!
Sooo is that what they are calling it now... Dialating my pupils. Mmm... I know why you can't see the screen... You still have tears in your eyes!! Bwaaaa Haaaa
