Junior, if you want to do this again, don't listen to Kyle Petty!
The 2007 Daytona 500 is only twelve days away, and while NASCAR's top drivers are prepping for their "Super Bowl," Kyle Petty is offering advice to Dale Earnhardt, Jr. about his future.
I'll wait until y'all stop laughing.
"I don't think he has to leave DEI to get out from under his father's shadow because I think he's already out from under his father's shadow.," Petty told Yahoo! Sports. "I think he's his own individual."
But on the other hand …
"Maybe for him to establish who he is in his head, it's important for him [to leave]," Petty said. (H/T - Yahoo! Sports)
What a guy, that Kyle Petty, huh? Actually, Petty seems like a nice guy, and I am sure he only wants to help. But, the fact of the matter remains that Petty hasn't won a race since I was in high school, and finishes in the top five about as often as Grimjack posts! If Junior listens to him, he might as well stop building those trophy cases, because he won't be bringing any shiny things home for a long, long time.
Listening to Kyle Petty's NASCAR advice is like listening to my blogging advice.
