Sense-ing A Great Victory

It is an annual tradition in the Earp abode to watch The Kentucky Derby. The missus has been watching the race for most of her life, so we continue the tradition accordingly. The kids weren't too keen on watching the ponies, but they later recanted. Why? Because this was the most exciting Derby in a long, long time.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- Street Sense roared from next-to-last in a 20-horse field to win the Kentucky Derby, putting trainer Carl Nafzger back in the winner's circle 17 years after his first visit.

The colt broke two Derby jinxes to score the win under jockey Calvin Borel, who was 0-for-4 in the race. (H/T - AP)
Unreal. The race was refreshing not only because Street Sense was almost dead last on the backstretch, but also because jockey Calvin Borel was genuinely ecstatic after the win. Emotion like that is contagious, I guess, because Borel won me over.

Go Street Sense!
