Funniest Commercial . . . EVER!

Watch the video clip first, then read on. Relax, it's a quick one.

Short story: My grandparents were Slovak. My great-grandparents were right of the boat from Prague or some such Eastern Bloc hell hole. When this commercial first came out (80's, I think), every time we saw the woman walking down the catwalk, my parents, brother and I would die laughing. Why? Because the woman is a DEAD RINGER for my grandmother, Anna.

She died a year or so after I entered the Academy, which was bizarre because on the day of my grandfather's (her husband) funeral was when I found out I was accepted into the Police Academy. I miss them both so much. My 6-year old is named Kyle Joseph - Joseph for my grandfather. I haven't been blessed with a daughter, but if I were, her middle name would be Anna.

Any hoo, the commercial makes me think of her, and I usually cry. But, it's a good cry, ya know what I mean?
