Ex-Phillies GM Ed Wade Gets Stuck In A Tree
I couldn't make this up: I'm not that talented.
Former Phillies general manager Ed Wade got stuck in a tree while skydiving Thursday in Gloucester County.
Wade, 51, landed in the tree on the perimeter of the drop zone at Cross Keys Airport about 5 p.m., according to Williamstown Fire Company Chief James V. Dehart III, whose department rescued Wade with its ladder truck. Wade's parachute opened normally, but snagged a branch about 50 feet from the ground, authorities said. It took 17 minutes from the time of dispatch to rescue Wade, who was not seriously injured, Dehart said. (H/T - The Philadelphia Inquirer)
Ya know, when Wade was running the Phils, the fans always said that he had his head stuck in his ass. Apparently, he is always getting something stuck somewhere!
