It's National Airborne Day!

And I had to read Outside the Beltway to find out about it.

I feel much shame.

I have never been one to blog about the troops, save to say that I support them and think they do the heroic acts I don't do myself. That being said, I also tell my children to shake hands or give "high-fives" to any serviceman or woman they come across. Why? Because they damned well deserve it.

Thank you, Airborne - that includes you, Pandy - for making America a better place . . . even if you do it from another country.
