Happy Birthday Kyle!

Today is my son Kyle's seventh birthday. Looking at him now, it's hard to believe that he came six weeks early, was hooked up to a heart monitor for two months, and that he and mom almost died during childbirth.

Now, he's doing very well in first grade, loves to read, and is one of the best players on his soccer team. Oh, and he's counting down the days until he's old enough to play organized ice hockey and lacrosse.

Like most kids, sometimes he's a pain in the arse, but I have to admit; he's almost always well behaved.

Hopefully, he'll be well-behaved when he opens his brand new snowboard today. And, hopefully, Philly will get some decent snow sometime this winter.
