Especially when we're talking about her daughter, Chelsea.SEATTLE, Washington (AP) -- A distasteful comment about Chelsea Clinton by an MSNBC anchor could imperil Sen. Hillary Clinton's participation in future presidential debates on the network, a Clinton spokesman said.
In a conference call with reporters, Clinton communications director Howard Wolfson on Friday excoriated MSNBC's David Shuster for suggesting the Clinton campaign had "pimped out" 27-year old Chelsea by having her place phone calls to celebrities and Democratic Party "superdelegates" on her mother's behalf.
Wolfson called Shuster's comment "beneath contempt" and disgusting.
"I, at this point, can't envision a scenario where we would continue to engage in debates on that network," he added. (H/T - CNN)
Okay, first of all, the "pimped out" comment is funny as Hell. Shuster shouldn't apologize for it; he should be applauded for it. Good comedy is rare from those idiots at MSNBC.
Second of all, MSNBC shouldn't get their pink lacy panties in a bunch over this. Trust me, The Hill-dabeast will participate in future debates there. She's trailing Obama in the polls, and this woman would kill her entire family to win the democratic nomination. She'll appear on MSNBC before the month is out. This woman is so egocentric, that she couldn't care less if the media attacks her family.
