You can deport them for two reasons, Arlen. First they are criminals. Second, and this is important, THEY ARE HERE ILLEGALLY!
Pennsylvania's senior senator toured the Allegheny County jail Tuesday. The appearance was one of a series of stops the Republican is making at state and county prisons to address the financial burden of housing illegal immigrants who are convicted of crimes.
Whether they are in prison or the trailer park, we're still paying for them, you jackass!
Specter said government statistics show these immigrants have a high rate of repeat offenses.
Ya think? Repeat after me: before they committed this particular crime, they committed an even greater crime of ENTERING THIS COUNTRY ILLEGALLY!
"We may have to find legislation to stop a situation where after they are in federal detention after they finish serving their sentences to be released back to the streets because of a threat to public safety," Specter said. (H/T - NBC10)
Ya know what legislation would work, Arlen? How about Title 8 Section 1325 of the U.S. Code, which states that "Illegal Entry by Alien" IS A FEDERAL CRIME!!!
