A Real Shetty Decision

Good grief, and I thought America was uptight.

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - India's Supreme Court suspended on Friday legal proceedings against Richard Gere, who faced obscenity charges for publicly kissing Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty last year.

Charges for public kissing? Imagine if he started grinding against her.. Although I would love to see Richard Gere stuck in an Indian prison, this story is chock full of shenanigans, chicanery, and tomfoolery.

Gere made headlines when he arched over and kissed Shilpa Shetty, winner of the British reality television show "Celebrity Big Brother," several times on the cheek at an anti-AIDS show in New Delhi.

Did Gere wear a condom? I mean it was during an anti-AIDS show.

Chief Justice of India K G Balakrishnan and Justice R. V. Raveendran stayed the arrest warrants against Gere and granted permission for him to travel to and from India.

Well, there's a bonus. Free travel to and from India - home of the free range cows.

The court criticized the complainant for his "moral policing" and observed, "such complaints are publicity hunting. You are bringing a bad name to this country." (H/T - Reuters)

Besides, look at this broad. She's smoking hot! If I were Gere I would have touched her goodies while I was kissing her. I'm just sayin'.
