Medic, Heal Thyself

A paramedic in the Philadelphia Fire Department posted this photo on his Instagram account, while urging fellow African-Americans to point their guns at police officers.

Some city officials are upset over a photo posted to Instagram by a West Philadelphia paramedic, showing two black men pointing a gun at a police officer and describing police as “the enemy.”

The post states “Our real enemy… need 2 stop pointing guns at each other & at the ones that’s legally killing innocents.”

Fire commissioner Derrick Sawyer said he personally apologized to police commissioner Charles Ramsey and the head of the FOP John McNesby.

Chances this POS will be disciplined/fired? Zero. I would, however, like to make a plea to this racist piece of garbage: If I get shot in the line of duty, and your medic unit gets the call, take your time getting there. I'd rather die on the street than take my chances with you.

  1. People like him are why we should have a hunting season on asshats! (Year round!)

  2. That's simply infuriating. As a medic my worst nightmare call would be an officer down. We're family.

  3. E.L. - The irony is, when some patient flips out, he won't care what race the officer is who rushes to his aid

    Jenn - Agreed 100%.

  4. This punk is the enemy, not the police
