This may be a shock to you, but some of my coworkers really don't like coming to work.
On Wednesday, we were getting crushed with jobs. We had four detectives and everyone was exhausted by the end of the tour.
On Thursday, I had two detectives -
we ignore Diego. Three detectives decided to take a sick out, claiming they were "sick."
Now I understand some of the detectives were exhausted on Wednesday, but having three detectives deciding to call out in the same day. Well, it's pretty petty.
I'd like to think we'll have more detectives today, but I'm not expecting it.
Damn dude that sucks. I started running my vacation in April towards retirement. It is awesome. I had barely taken any days off since 2018 and it is crazy how relaxed I feel now.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking at hospital security, or maybe a school security gig. I'd like to work for a school and be able to do nothing in the summer.
DeleteI saw what's happening in Philly. Stay safe!
ReplyDeleteWe didn't have to go downtown. We were busy with jobs, but we were okay at the division.
DeleteI've been so busy/preoccupied with family drama that I've neglected this blog. I see I've missed A LOT, too. Pardon me while I read all the posts I've missed.
ReplyDeleteAnd btw, I'm glad you've posted a count-down to retirement. My son-in-law, who's a nurse, is retiring the beginning of July.
ReplyDeleteI've been busy too and don't get here enugh. I just noticed your countdown. It should be at -200 or something since you were crazy enough to stay, but 141 as of me posting, that's not very long. You'll be a 2 digit midget soon. As for your coworkers ditching out on everyone, it makes you wonder if things were coordinated.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to get back on the blog. We're so busy but I'm trying to get more posts up.
