The Greatness Of Being With My Family

I'm still trying to get the handle of blogging, so don't throw tomatoes at me yet.
I was able to run my time, which means I could work without being at work.
Since I had so much time I could go home and I would not have to go to the division. So I could stay at home and take the kids to school and clean the house.
Mrs. Earp found a job close to our house, and she is now the teacher in first grade.
It's great, because the school is close to our house, and our four kids went to that school.
For the 31 years of policing, I would come home and crash on the couch.
And after two weeks, I finally realized, that all the crap working as a detective was okay, but it wasn't worth all the times I missed with my kids.
I thought being a detective was the best thing in the world. I finally realized all those years were useless.
In the end, I finally realized the thugs were still out there, and everyone in my division realized the thugs will be there every day.
It's not worth it.
P.S. - That's Julia playing around before her last game on the season.

    1. I won't look for a job until January. I'd rather chill after 31 years of awfulness.
