My last day was yesterday and I have never been happier. There's a lot to talk about - the few who still look at this blog.I'm going to start blogging on Monday and try to do the same stuff I did since 2024.
I'm getting back into blogging and it's difficult because I havent been writing for a while. One of my best friend is taking me out for lunch, a celebration for getting out of this job.
If you like what I did before, there will be more to come.

I can't even remember what the number was until retirement back when I stumbled across your blog. I'm thinking it was probably 5 digits. (Not really, but that sounded good...) It brings me great joy to know that you have escaped the lunatic asylum and I hope this next chapter of your life gives you, your lovely bride, and your children much joy as well. I look forward to stories about anything and everything, but I'd especially like to read stories from said lunatic asylum, like Diego and other fine city employees. RNG
ReplyDeleteThanks. It's been a terrible few years. It still bothers me that I lost years of blogging.
DeleteYou will catch up quickly and be right into it. How does one get a username on here and quit posting anonymously or go through the hassle of posting by typing in a name manually
DeleteWelcome back! When I saw your latest post, all I could think of was "It's About Damn Time" and then I saw Doc at the top of the post & smiled.
ReplyDeleteI'll start on Monday. Still trying to get this thing right enough.
DeleteI miss Meghan and Cindy on the side. Nice to see them back.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you're back. Happy retirement! I was excited to see my newsreader show a new post. Look forward to what's to come.
ReplyDeleteI was starting running my time. The missus thought she wanted the money, but she knew I was ready to get away from this place.
DeleteLooking forward to your return!
ReplyDeleteThanks. I have a few places that want to hire me, but I'm not sure yet. I'm going to lounge around for two months and look for a job in January.
