Meet Annette Nichols, Fatty Chip Bandit

The Banana Chip Bandit has finally been apprehended, police report.

A bizarre crime spree ended last night with the arrest of a 59-year-old Florida Woman for the theft of about $300 worth of banana chips from a supermarket, according to court records.

Cops charge that Annette Nichols has repeatedly swiped the banana chips from a Publix near her Vero Beach residence. Over the past few weeks, Nichols “has been coming into the store...and stealing the same one piece of merchandise off their shelves. The item in question is a $6.49 bag of Banana chips,” an arrest affidavit states.

Lorenzo Altamura, a Publix deli manager, told cops that Nichols has stolen banana chips on six separate dates.

One wonders if this slob will be able to get into the jail.
