THANK YOU!!!!!!!! I you have no idea how much this made my day! Seems dumb, I know...but he's my favorite hockey player. He's tough, skilled, a gamer, and he's from the same part of Canada as my family. I still have his jersey, too.
One day I was leaving a mall a few blocks from where the Flyers practiced and he was leaving when I was and I jiggled my keys and he turned around....eeek...I was all happy and fluttery inside. Then a few weeks later at a skills competition for the all-star game I was right up next to the glass and he stood in front of where I was sitting....UGH...too much to handle. I almost broke my mother's knee when I grabbed it to say, "THERE'S Roddy!!!!"
Ok...I'm squealing like a teenager. Every year I pray to the hockey gods that the Flyers bring him back home. He's ugly, but he's a babe in my book!
