Congratulations to Kasey Kahne on winning today's NASCAR event at Texas Motor Speedway. Kahne edged Matt Kenseth and SYLG's favorite jerkass Tony Stewart for the victory.Unfortunately, Jeff Gordon had a fairly lousy day after cutting a tire and going two laps down halfway through the race, but in the end three of the Hendrick Motorsports drivers (Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, and Kyle Busch) are in the top ten in the overall standings. Giddyup!
The best line of the day was when I a driver (Ryan Newman?) got his rear busted by contact. When asked about it, he said "Sterling Marlin's toupe must have slipped down over his eyes..." Hilarious!
