Michael Vick Pleads Guilty

If there's any justice, he'll be "put to sleep."
RICHMOND, Virginia (Ticker) - Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick has accepted a plea deal on federal charges relating to allegations of his involvement in a professional dogfighting operation.

In a statement, Vick's lead defense attorney Billy Martin confirmed the decision.

Vick will now formally enter the guilty plea next Monday. The charges carry a maximum sentence of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine. The NFL Network is reporting that Vick's deal with federal prosecutors will see him sentenced to 10-12 months.
I guess he didn't want to take his chances with the jury?
