John Lewis: You can run - or in this case, "ride" - but you cannot hide!

PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ― Philadelphia Police now have evidence a suspected cop killer, the subject of a massive round-the-clock manhunt, has fled Philadelphia and headed south to Florida on a on a public transportation bus.

The latest information was released by police only hours after recovering the fallen officer's gun and the weapon believed to have been used during a hold-up at a West Oak Lane Dunkin' Donuts.

Sources tell CBS 3 police recovered two guns Monday, during a search of a home in the 3800 block of N. Franklin Street in the city's Hunting Park section.

"In the course of serving a search warrant, they recovered two guns. One being the officer's gun, the other being a gun that is a 9 mm, that we believe may be the murder weapon. We are not positive about this at this point," said Philadelphia Police Commissioner Sylvester Johnson during a Monday afternoon news conference. (H/T - CBS3)

I can now tell you with surety that one of the weapons recovered is Chuck's city-issued Glock 17 pistol. It was positively identified by its serial number just an hour or so ago. The other pistol is probably the murder weapon, but there has not been verification as of this posting.

The popular sentiment around the division is that it would be terrific to arrest this piece of shite before Chuck's funeral services on Wednesday. If indeed Lewis fled the state, we may have to wait a little longer. That's okay by us, though; we can be very patient. We'll outlast you, John. Trust me.
