The department finally released the shackles and allowed me to blog again.
I won't lie. Very few people look at the blog anymore. I tried to send out people who haven't been around.
It's okay, and I will try to keep blogging. It's difficult when you haven't been blogging for two years.
It was also difficult now that I am a retired police detective. The pension money is really good, which helps at home.
So, if you want to take a look at the blog, it'll be there every day.
Even if you don't want to be here.
If you build it, they will come. Hang in there, I'm still here, as are a few others.
ReplyDeleteI tried to send the others, but the email kept some of the out.
DeleteI've had many blogs in the past, although I stopped blogging years ago. Most days no one checked them out. But I kept blogging because it was good writing exercise. I'm amazed at how well written many of my posts were.
ReplyDeleteI like your humorous posts, but I'd also like your views on some of the serious topics. Like, the National Guard being sent to cities in turmoil to help maintain peace. If I lived in one of those cities, I'd welcome them with open arms (and a cup of coffee).
Agreed, ICE people are getting shot, worse then I was working at the division.
DeleteI'd have posts up today, but we're putting up the Christmas decorations today.
DeleteNice to see you are back. I've been busy keeping the lights on for folks in Flori-Duh, Utah, and now Oklahoma. Congrats on the pension! In a few more months I will put this startup to rest and go back to fishing on a Florida coast. Please consider a visit next year. We can swill a few adult beverages & tell old sea stories of our travels. :)
