Rush Limbaugh: Hero To The Soldiers

Many of you may already know about this "controversy" surrounding Rush Limbaugh and his "phony soldiers" remark. I certainly do, since I was listening to the show where the phrase was uttered. Most people in the media got the story incorrect. Rush was referring to one soldier, who lied about his service, and Rush - correctly - called him on it. There are a few "phony soldiers" out there, including former Atlantic City mayor, Bob Levy.

Anyway, Rush took offense, and turned a negative - the Dems' letter calling for Limbaugh's head - into a positive, by auctioning it of on eBay, and giving 100% of the proceeds to his favorite charity.

Here's the video of Rush Limbaugh announcing the eBay auction.

And when the bidding began to skyrocket, that idiot Harry Reid sheepishly thanked Rush for his idea on the House floor. Amazingly, he also tried to take credit for the money raised! You can see that video HERE. If you listen closely, you still cannot hear Reid apologize for getting the story completely wrong. Why? Because he didn't apologize; just as he's never apologized for insulting our troops. Although seeing him sniveling on the floor was almost good enough.

The auction ended today. The winning bid was $2.1 million. With Rush's matching funds, that means $4.2 million will go to the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation.

Now I ask you, who truly has the best interests of our soldiers at heart?
