Ho, Ho, Ugh

So, now that I'm in my fifties, I have realized it's more difficult to put up Christmas lights at our home. I have to get on the ladder, hang the lights, then take them down because I the cord is on the other side.

Today wasn't fun, because I didn't have a lot of sleep today, and the hooks for our front weren't cooperating. It took me about an hour to get the lights up and ready, and after that I was ready to go back to bed. Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas but then there's the indoor lights, the trees - we have a main tree in the living room and one in the basement.

I decided to not go back to bed, so I decided to put up the indoor lights in our den. We have three long strings, and only one had their lights working. I only put the lights up today because it wasn't freezing as it has been for the last week. I'll have to get more indoor lights tomorrow, and we'll start putting up the Christmas flair on Friday.
