I have been jogging a lot lately, trying to get my pounds lower. As of today, I am holding at 174. I was walking, jogging, and occasionally running. After a while I started having problems with my left knee. I was getting clickd while jogging, and what appeared to be inflamation at the patella.
There is a very good therapy company - ATI - which is about three blocks from my house. I called down there and they took me that very day. This was November 13th. I have been with then for years. A really bad contusion, me throwing out my right shoulder, and not this.
The therapists there are fantastic, and while I still have issues with the knee, I'm getting better. I'm starting to worry about how I'm falling apart. I don't want to be one of those people who can't get out and do some walks, etc. I guess cross-country, ice hockey, and lacrosse took it's toll on me.
I asked the therapist today if I could walk, He said not today, but tomorrow. He also said if it starts to hurt, turn around and go home.
I do two sets of exercises in the house, and I don't mind. I just want to get myself back together.
P.S. - I had an appointment with the Prostate Doctor. I'm low enough right now that I only have to go to the doc once a year.
