It took sixteen months, but I'm finally getting promoted! From now on, it'll be Detective Earp! I would have posted sooner - I found out at 5pm - but I have been bouncing off the walls and calling every person I have ever known to bore them with the details. Training begins on Monday, and will last a little over three weeks. The date for the promotion ceremony hasn't been announced yet, so I'll keep everyone updated.(I realize that this sucks for a post, but if I didn't write it down now, the joy would lose its punch.)
Congrats, Detective Earp. I am very happy for you and I know you'll be the best detective Philadelphia has ever had.
