More On The "Moore-on"

A double-amputee veteran of the Iraq war is suing filmmaker Michael Moore for $85 million, claiming Moore used an old interview with the G.I. to make him appear anti-war in his movie "Fahrenheit 9/11."

Hold on a second, Sergeant! How dare you soil the good name of America's resident genius of the documentary!

Sgt. Peter Damon, 33, who strongly supports America's invasion of Iraq, said he never agreed to be in the 2004 movie. Damon lost his arms when a Black Hawk helicopter exploded in front of him. In the 2003 interview, which he did at Walter Reed Army Hospital for NBC News, he discussed only a new painkiller the military was using on wounded veterans, the New York Post reports.

Unbelievable. As if Michael Moore would lie and fabricate "facts" to support his position. See? You just can't trust the military. This guy is probably faking his amputations, too.

  1. 85 million...are you kidding me. This dude should be put in front of a firing squad for being an a-hole.

He wants 75 mil and his dumb-ass wife wants 10. You telling me that this dude wouldn't still be working at Wal-Mart if Michael Moore portrayed him in a different light. ooooooo-kay.

Michael Moore may be an idiot but 85 million???

I hope this guys wins the 85 million and then gets hit by a bus going to the bank....just after his wife gets a chinese star in the jugular.

Somebody give me 10 million for having to sit through The Big Lebowski....biggest piece of crap movie in years. The DUDE, The DUDE, The dude can bite me.

  3. Is Randal for real?

  4. Randal is 100% real. This guy is a douchebag.

Direct from the news report: "Damon is asking for up to $75 million because of "loss of reputation, emotional distress, embarrassment, and personal humiliation."

$75 million dollars. How come this putz didn't bring it up as soon as the film was released....because he had to find another douchebag, I mean lawyer, who would take his case.

Perhaps his emotional distress and humiliation is from the fact that this guy can't wipe his own ass anymore. I hate theiving scumbags who sue for outlandish amounts of money. F- him.

  5. Personally, I don't care who sues the Mooreon or for how much! And I think you're being juat alittle harsh on a soldier who's severely wounded, Randal.

  6. And as far as what he was doing, he's most likely been in Walter Reed having surgery after surgery trying to save his life! And after that he has an endless amount of rehab to learn to use artificial arms--arms he lost serving his country, jackass! Who are you to criticize someone like that?

If you want to gripe about senseless lawsuits, pick on the people who say they're fat because of McDonalds, etc. or the people who are so offended by any nit-picking thing!

  7. Gee, I guess that makes Michael Moore a victim.

Some terrible guy with half an arm left after defending his country is suing Moore for an amount that will hurt because Michael "I speak for those poor soldiers" Moore misused the soldier's image and words to advance a false agenda.

I feel so sorry for Moore.

    NOT.

Have you ever gone to war randal graves? Ever lost some limbs so people back home can call you nasty names?

  8. Linda, Thank you for proving that the American public is as stupid as ever. You, sir, are a moron. Perhaps you should read what I actually wrote, not what you wanted to read, ass.

Who's criticizing him for serving his country? Not me; so go fuck yourself until you learn how to read. I never criticized his decision to become a soldier. Am I supposed to feel bad because I'm ripping on someone in the military who is a greedy prick?.....sorry, WRONG.

Where the f- was this guy when the movie first came out....nowhere to be found, until he and another scumbag (a lawyer) had the bright idea of a big payday!

Direct from the article: "Damon’s lawyer Dennis Lynch said he delayed filing the lawsuit in a bid to settle the matter with Moore."

Read between the lines....Damon asked Michael Moore for a shitload of money and Moore said "Fuck you, you were stupid enough to answer questions in front of a camera and sign a release form." I think Michael Moore even said "Kiss my fat, black ass."

My gripe is with stupid people like yourself. Unfortunately, stupid people don't know they're stupid. They need to be told they're stupid....that's where I come in.

airforcewife - it appears we have a lot in common.....
    1. Did I ever say that Mr.Moore was a victim? NO.
    2. Have you ever gone to war? No, either have I.
    3. Have I ever lost a limb? No.
    4. Have you ever lost one? No, also.
    5. Do I feel sorry for Michael Moore? No, and I never said that I did?

Please don't be as stupid as Linda...just read what I actually wrote, not what you want to read. Do that and perhaps you'll realize that this has absolutely nothing to do with Michael Moore. I has everything to do with greedy shiftless scumbags.

Oh, and I don't limit my nasty name calling to people with missing limbs; I call everyone nasty names, dope.

  9. Randal, your vocabulary is as limited as your intellect, twit.

  10. Randal - I despise Moore, but even I thought 85 million is a disgraceful amount.

    Sssteve - With ketchup.

Linda - Sarcasm (sar'kaz em) n. 1. A sharply sneering or cutting remark.

Okay, everyone, let's not start a Holy War here. The whole point was that Moore pretty much cut and pasted Farenheit 911. And even the most ardent supporter of the troops (read: me) knows that 85 million is an unrealistic expectation at best.

Jeez! Just go and enjoy your weekend already!
