Making a lot of money doesn't necessarily make you sexy.

In last year's poll conducted by Salary.com, firefighter hosed down the competition and won the title of "sexiest job" of 2006 with 16 percent of the nearly 5,000 votes. These brave, uniformed public servants won out over other high-paying jobs like doctor, lawyer, and chief executive officer. - (H/T - Yahoo!)

I can't speak for the ladies, but when it comes to professions, I would argue that police officer is quite sexy . . .
